Website Complete

After a load of painful coding my site is complete and live. I was able to create my site in a fashion that looks and works how I intended it to in my mocks, so as you can imagine i'm pleased with the final result.

Website Mock-up

Here is a set of PNGs I made in illustrator to show my tutors how I intent to create my portfolio website as well as how I want it to look. Im looking to see if I can have the content area slide to each page. Obviously this is a mock up so I expect elements are either going to need to be changed or left out, hopefully though the final product will resemble my mock if I put the work in.

Function of site

Poster Designs: Updated

In these updated poster designs I have added the new emblem with the Lewes castle add on, I have also messed around with the tracking on the Private/Public viewing text so that now they are in chronological order and aligned as best they can. Just those little changes have made a massive improvement in my eyes. I have also added a smooth look to the peeled up edge rather than the previous 3 shade design.

End of year show emblem design: Updated

In the update I added Lewes castle as some of the feedback suggested that as our course is held in Lewes that something should represent it. There is also a totem pole to add a bit of variety and symbolise different parts of the world.

Pitch Feedback

My pitch went really well,  I got no negative feedback which was obviously nice. It was suggested that Lewes should be somehow incorporated into the image. This will be my next step in the poster development, to add some reference to Lewes. I have also noticed myself that Im not happy with the viewing dates being out of chronological order, this will have to be changed to.

Poster Designs: First drafts

These are my two first mocks of End of year show poster. Using the Emblem I created before I wanted to give the impression of the vast range of potential things to do with design. On version two I Changed the title to Infinite possibilities from Endless possibility. I also made the moon cog into a little character that is filming the world so as to put another aspect of our course into the design.
