Cereal box

With cereal box design, i would seem you usually find them to have bold background colours, with an inviting image pasted across the front. As seen in this Coco Pops and Frosties boxes, the designers have used a character of a cartoon monkey/tiger to invite children to the idea of wanting this cereal. As most cereals focused at younger consumers tend to have charactes,  these characters allow children to visually remember the cereal they have eaten whether they can read or not. This method seems to be highly effective as many, if not all cereal focused at children contain cartoon characters.
